This module has helped me think about self-directed learners and the role of differentiation in the following ways
I need to give directions and set expectations that account for a variety of intelligences and learning styles. Also, I can help students succeed and become more independent by setting up ways for students to do formative self assessments such as check lists, rubrics, and student sampes.

Module 5 Reflection

This module has made me think about student centered assessment in the following ways: students should be a part of the assessment process. They should become involved in their self assessment and can be involved in assessing other students as well. Students can be taught how to read and use rubrics to assess their own learning and the learning of others. Using reflection journals, setting goals, defining tasks and giving feedback to peers are all ways to create student centered learning.

Module 4 Reflection

I think technology can be used most effectively to support and assist student learning by incorporating clear expectations, giving students complete examples to follow and using all available resources for students to explore and practice their skills.
